OFFSHORE MARINE SEGMENT

Offshore Fiberglass Piping | Certified Offshore Projects (ABS, IMO, USCG, and ASTM F1104)

D2R International has 30 years of experience in offshore and marine installations, especially in fire protection, raw water, cooling water, potable water, gray water, ballast water, and foam handling systems.

We are specialists in the design, fabrication, supply, installation, and maintenance of fiberglass piping systems (FRP/GRP) for offshore platforms, industrial vessels, maritime terminals, floating production storage and offloading units (FPSO), gas compression plants, and offshore facilities for the oil and energy industry.

We develop high-performance composite piping solutions for the transport of seawater, cooling systems, fire protection systems, process water, open and closed drains, ballast, general services, and corrosive fluids, complying with the most demanding international safety and reliability standards.

Our projects are executed under the requirements of ASTM International standard ASTM F1104 for reinforced thermoplastic piping systems and in compliance with the guidelines of maritime classification societies and international regulatory bodies, including:

American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)
International Maritime Organization (IMO)
United States Coast Guard (USCG)
We offer comprehensive services including:
Engineering and design of FRP/GRP piping systems for marine environments.
Fabrication of certified fiberglass spools and components.
Offshore installation and assembly using support vessels and marine cranes.
Onshore prefabrication to reduce downtime.
Repair and rehabilitation of existing fiberglass piping.
Hydrostatic testing, dimensional inspection, and quality control.
Replacement of corroded metallic systems with long-life composite solutions.
Certification management and technical documentation for classification society approval.

The use of fiberglass piping in offshore applications provides excellent resistance to marine corrosion, reduced structural weight, lower maintenance costs, high chemical resistance, and a service life superior to traditional carbon steel systems.

Our projects additionally comply with international standards ASTM, ASME, ISO 14692, and specific naval classification requirements to ensure operational safety and the mechanical integrity of systems installed in high-demand marine environments.
